Business Insights: Why People Don't Have Predictable Income

Uncategorized May 18, 2023

I find security and predictability super SEXY

I also like excitement. Just knowing that I can pay my bills ALWAYS.

That's sexy.

And  therefore...

I LOVE PLANNING.

Gosh.

You know the reversed engineered ones.

VERY SOLID ONES.

Something so sexy with predictable results.

Knowing that you can make this or MORE.

That you’ve a path and a process to welcome those clients and that revenue.

Until not that long ago, I couldn't make plans.

Because they wouldn't stick.

Always something would happen.

Too much going on in my personal life as my ex was terminally ill.

So I just went with the flow.

And the past two years have been successful for my business, as I was able to build a multiple 6-figure business.

But it was without a solid plan (mind-blowing right!?)

So I leaned into working very SMART, and amplifying what works.

Became brutal about only doing the 20% that brought 80% of the results.

It worked.

BUT now I can add a SOLID plan to the midst.

And actually map out my bes...

Juicy Details: Run Your Business Like a Business

New level, the same devil 🙀

I'm a huge believer in transparency and sharing behind the scenes.
And I want to share with you something I posted in a group I am part of yesterday.
So  here is the good, bad and the ugly.
Denise Duffield-Thomas talks about a new level, the same devil.
And I'm experiencing this so much.
I thought I had decluttered, healed, and mastered so many limiting beliefs, sabotages, and money blocks.
AND here they are again, all over the place.
I feel out of control and so unsafe AGAIN.
I just moved to Spain a few weeks ago with my 6-year-old daughter as a single mom.
I've been dreaming about this for years, visualizing it.
And as my business is a multiple 6-figure business that supports us so well, we moved with our 2 cats.
And now I am here, and I'm loving it
BUT...
Here is the BUT.
It has been so triggering:
>>> School has been way too short (I only got 3 ½ hours of work).
>>> Things feel chaotic.
>>> India and I spent so much time together, an...

Lessons Learned: The Energetics Behind Conversions

Uncategorized Mar 19, 2023

It was November 2020.

And I was launching my new business for the first time.

I had planned a 3-day training event called "3 Days to Design Your Business," which focused on designing offers and creating a business strategy, leading to my 10-week group program, Business Launch, priced at 1170 euros.

To help me with my launch, I signed up for my first-ever business coach, Sigrun, who specializes in online businesses.

I followed her launch formula step-by-step, using her analytical approach and great launch framework and checklists to reverse engineer my launch.

I mapped out the whole process, put my goals in place, finalized my offers, created my opt-in page, designed my freebie (Business Launch Checklist), wrote and scheduled my email sequence, pre-wrote and scheduled my promotion posts, and created my sales page and sales sequence.

I even plugged in some Facebook ads, promoted across social media, and spammed a few groups.

However, it was a lot of work for me as it was the first...

Lessons Learned: Fears I had to dance with to grow my business

Uncategorized Mar 11, 2023

Growing your business can be scary and often confronting.

Particularly as a coach and service entrepreneur.

In my wildest dreams did I ever imagine how different it would be having a coaching business from my previous startups.

It's a world apart.

My startup was so much more separated from me. Making money had nothing to do with my own worth or beliefs.

It was more about solid strategy, testing, tweaking and massive action.

I could separate my business from me. It wasn’t linked.

My coaching business became much more linked to me. My own worth, my own beliefs…

Not consciously, it just happened.

Making money and welcoming clients suddenly became linked to my own beliefs.

My own emotions and feelings.

And the breakdowns became personal.

And the fears…

All the what if it doesn’t work out.

What if I don’t sell enough

What if I don’t have the audience.

So this what if resulted that I didn’t go full in and the half assed things.

As I...

Lessons Learned: You have to take difficult decisions to grow

Uncategorized Feb 12, 2023

I’m so excited about my decisions.

They’ve been some incredible CEO decisions that I’ve been making recently in my business.

The first big bold decision I made at the end of last year was to open up a lower ticket option to work with me, yet still with the hiqh quality service. It’s my amazing coaching program: The Art of Business Experience.

And people loved it, now I’ve reached the capacity on doing it how I’m doing it, so it’s time to tweak and improve it so it’s sustainable.

And that means some serious decisions.

And I made two of those regarding this program.

  1. The 1:1 deep dives and the 1:1 strategy session that clients get when joining is going to move to a group format in March

  1. The prices are going up from 3333 euros to 5555 euros for the year.

I will make sure the quality remains, but for me the 1:1 deep dives is no longer sustainable for this program.

If you’ve been thinking about working with me, now is the time.

You can still g...

The Juicy Details: Scaling to multiple 6-figures as a single mom and an introvert

Uncategorized Jan 28, 2023

Maybe no surprise if you've been in my world for a while but I'm very introverted.

And I'm a single mom to my daughter and I'm with her 100% of the time.

This means time is my most precious resource as it's very limited. Because I'm alone with my daughter and I need a lot of alone time to recharge my batteries, and this I've to do during business hours.

I've around 30 hours per week to dedicate to my business, so I gotta be super clever on how I spend it.

A lot of people are surprised to hear that I don't work full time in my business because I have a very successful multi-six figure business and I'm quite active on social media. My business is also about exquisite client experience. I run a very intimate hands-on Mastermind with 1:1 experience and a really high-touch Art of Business Group Experience.

So how do I do this? I'm going to let you into my secrets...

But before I do,

I'm hosting a 3-day series where we will strategize, plan, and map out your offers and client attract...

Business Insights: 3 Core Reasons For the Revenue Roller Coaster

Uncategorized Jan 22, 2023

What I see very often with my clients, and also with my crew, is feast-or-famine cycles and the revenue roller coaster.

Inconsistent revenue and feeling unsafe in your business is a very unsafe way to do business, and extremely energy draining.

If you resonate with this, let’s start turning this around, to start embracing and welcoming predictable income, and consistent income growth.

I personally don’t believe that your income has to fluctuate.

And I think that every month you can be consistent or ideally earn more than the last the month, if you simply allow yourself that.

YES I said SIMPLY ALLOWING YOURSELF. It all starts with you giving yourself permission for it.

You might now be feeling a lot of resistance to what I just said and be like “friggin’ A’ Silja, do you think I am not allowing myself safety in my business???”

Hear me out…

I believe that business is a mixture of strategy and spiritual practice, (the woo-woo, your inner game, and that whatever your focus on, expands).

So let’s ...

Lessons Learned: A blackmail essentially...

Uncategorized Jan 17, 2023

I want to share with you such a valuable lesson that I learned a while back, when I started this business. The lesson is how important it is to listen to your gut feeling.

I’ve had over 100s of clients and most, if not all have been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Except this one client of mine. She, frankly, was a nightmare.

She was demanding

She didn’t listen

She wasn’t coachable

All signs that this wouldn’t end well.

I felt drained and tired working with her.

I took her onboard because she was struggling (many of my clients come to me as they struggle with getting clients) and I wanted to help her overcome these struggles.

I'm still a bit of a people pleaser.

But my body screamed nooo!! Silja don’t do this...

After our first onboarding call, I could feel the pain in my shoulders.

I felt tired (I’m usually not tired) but I brushed it off.

I just had a launch and made an excuse of being drained and tired.

In our next session, she just k

The Juicy Details of My Business: How I scaled to 40k euro months

Uncategorized Jan 10, 2023

As you're in my world, you probably know that I don't do a lot of things on the surface level.

In this blog post I would like to take you
behind the scenes - spill all juicy details of how I scaled my business to over quarter million a year.

And how I did this:
-
without a team, with the exception of Sharlene, who does my onboarding
-
as a single mom to my beautiful daughter India (I've her 100% of the time)
-
with ample space and sloooow mornings

Now before I share the nitty gritty details, I do want to emphasise that a huge reason my business scaled to 250k per year and often to 40k cash months so quickly is because I’m a serial entrepreneur and this is not my first rodeo (and I’m a business mentor so this is my jam!)

But also because of personal situation in the last year, I've taken it slow.

I am, myself, in the new scaling phase of my business starting in January 2023.

This means, I’m following my own formula of simplifying + scaling.

The formula is a...
